Nur mit dem Einsatz neuer&nbsp;IT-Technik&nbsp;ist es m\u00f6glich, den st\u00e4ndig steigenden Betriebs\u00adanforderungen einer modernen Gesell\u00adschaft gerecht zu werden. Die Kern\u00adkompetenzen von Biblio\u00adtheka\u00adrinnen und Biblio\u00adthekaren werden zu\u00adnehmend er\u00adweitert durch&nbsp;<strong>F\u00e4hig\u00adkeiten&nbsp;im Umgang mit digitalen Medien&nbsp;(Medien\u00adkompetenz) und&nbsp;Kompetenzen aus der Informatik.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gleich\u00adzeitig nehmen die An\u00adforderungen der Nutze\u00adrinnen und Nutzer an Dienst\u00adleistungen in der Biblio\u00adthek zu. Im Er\u00adgebnis ent\u00adstehen die so\u00adgenannten \u201eDiscovery-Systeme\u201c: eine&nbsp;neue Generation von Bibliotheks\u00adkatalogen, welche auf&nbsp;Such\u00admaschinen\u00adtechno\u00adlogie&nbsp;be\u00adruht.
